Hardened tool steel blades are removable for sharpening and cuts accurately on steel, brass, and aluminum materials. an adjustable stop can be set for repetitive plates. The shear is designed on the same principle as the large commercial shears, with the blade closing in a guillotine fashion which give greater support and helps to prevent movement of the plate during the shearing process.
